Due to the high level of interest in sparring after the BBC "Art of Fighting" seminar late last year, a sparring class will be run at CSD Moorebank at 8:30pm every second Friday. The first sparring class is on this Friday 22 January 2010, and as it will be contact sparring, headgear, shin pads and gloves are required. Only those students who have the equipment may be able to participate. The headgear, shin pads and gloves can be purchased from the front desk for a packaged price or gear can be bought separately. Alternatively you can purchase your own gear but it must be approved by Grandmaster Geoff beforehand. During the sparring classes Grandmaster Geoff will take us through sparring techniques and drills and then we will get a chance to try these sparring techniques out by sparring with one another.
